Yup. Entered the last of them late last night. Now I just have to go through every word three more times to be sure I didn’t introduce any new errors. Oy vey.
A drunk guy who painted my living room when I was in high school told me of music, “people won’t start to like your songs until you start to hate them.” I think that applies to books too. After the scrutiny I’ve been giving them, I kinda never want to see them again. One should always look forward instead of back in their art anyhow, lest it get stale. But that would make a reading tour problematic. Guess I’ll just suck it up and keep loving them even without all the superfluous commas.
I think Jay Z sampled it best: “it’s a hard knock life.”
